Dental Clinic Design

To make conceptual view of interior design, we mainly use Google Sketchup to design. It is extremely useful 3D designing tools and much easier to use comparing with 3DMAX or AutoCAD. Most people can learn to use the software within a week. I presume if you can use Adobe photoshop, you have have enough skill to use this software. Also the most importantly, it is free license. Nevertheless, the inferior of Sketchup is model render. That mean it cannot perform light, shadow, reflection and surface but we use another plug-in V-ray to deal with this problems instead. Below is outline stage of our dental practice working procedures.

Stage 1: Take onsite photos and conceptual design.

Stage 2: Import to Google Sketchup and make another layer by line tools to estimate space and area proportion.

Stage 3: Re-model by Google Sketchup again. We can try many different designs and color tones at this stage.

Stage 4: Render Sketchup model by V-ray plug-in. We finally have perspective design to present Central Festival. Stage 1 to 4 takes around 2 months.

Stage 5: It takes around 45 days for structure constructions and interior works.

Below are parts of several unused designs on 4th stage. For working with Central Festival, we need to submit the best design and discuss with their staff for finalize the design concept together. The design must be harmonize with shopping mall area.
